Chrome First Impressions

Chrome First Impressions

As a Firefox lover, i have to admit, Google Chrome is looking pretty slick and i could well be moving from Firefox to Chrome.

There’s a few things i like right away;

  • No crap at the top of the window/page - just the bare minimum, increasing vertical page real estate.
  • You can search google from within the url address bar - very handy
  • ‘Incognito mode’ which basically allows you to browse under cover, leaving no traces of what sites you visit - very handy if multiple users are on your PC.
  • on start up, it shows your most visited pages in a thumbnail fashion - very handy
  • on start up, it displays a bookmarks toolbar which is a great use of space.

So overall, Chrome looks really impressive yet simple - a typical Google product. What do you guys think?!

    Yeah i think the new Google Chrome is great, as you said lots of vertical space, great for seeing more of the page, it also seems to load pages fast which is great, a definite possibility of being my main browser.

    I love the succinct too,
    but i love to have a stronger bookmark organize.
    Also I love “gesture”, if Chrome have this, it will become my main browser.
